When someone like Stephen Hawking calls Artificial Intelligence “the worst mistake mankind could make,” is this based on science fact or science fiction? When Microsoft has to pull it's first AI as it becomes racist and horrible, are there inherent safeguards, possible mandatory artificial safeguards, that need to be included? And fear aside, what could real artificial intelligence do for all intelligent life forms?
