There is a relationship between science and science-fiction. Often it is science that sparks the writer’s imagination, but science writing and fiction writing are not the same. NOT a cut-and-dried lecture, this workshop features expert scientist authors who will describe a general approach to research in their fields, then work with you to address your key science-related interests and concerns. They will help you to refine your writing so that you can portray the science in your story realistically and accurately without overloading the reader with technobabble.
